Work at Base Camp

Located at the base of Snow King Mountain in Jackson Hole, Base Camp is where all the magic happens. As a Base Camp counselor, you’ll spend your summer helping campers explore, play, and grow in the outdoors.

About The Job

You’ll work with campers from Kindergarten through 8th grade, creating a fun and supportive experience built around outdoor adventure, creativity, and classic camp traditions. Throughout the summer, you’ll lead activities like hiking, arts and crafts, field games, nature and mountain activities, and plenty of camp favorites.

Working at Base Camp means bringing great energy, creativity, and enthusiasm every day. You might lead a hike in the morning, sing camp songs in the afternoon, or help a camper find the confidence to try something new. As a counselor, you’ll be an important part of creating a community where kids feel comfortable being themselves, trying new things, and having a whole lot of fun.

You’ll be a positive role model for your campers while gaining hands-on experience working with youth and strengthening your leadership skills. It’s an active, rewarding summer where you’ll work hard, be silly, spend lots of time outside, and help create memories that last long after the summer ends.
